During Reservist, I recieved a call from a good friend that inspiration me to write a short story. I had some rough idea but haven't really pen it yet.
Storyline: 2 good friends since colleage times had been contacting each other nearly everyday since they graduate. Then one day, one of them gone missing for 2 weeks, uncontactable in any sort, not email, not msn, not phone. The very next time they communicate, the party that had gone missing totally forget the other party. It was then that we found out that something had happen to this missing friend which cause him/her (I am still thinking who to put) to loss his/her memory. They decided to meet up. The other party help the missing memory one to regain his/her memory and through the process they actually found out they are very much in love.
So what really happened to this person during this 2 weeks and is the person a he or a her? I still thinking. But this is as usual going to be a straight love story.
I'm back from Reservist.
to HB: Sry, Didn't really slim down, I try ok?
Reservist is so boring. Though there are lots of story to tell. Enough to be written to a book.
Anyway, I'm tired and settling down. I write something when I'm free.
Maybe catching Germany vs Argentina. See how things goes.
Gena call back from tomorrow (260606) to (300606)
Take care everyone I know.
Mr Prosser said: "You were quite entitled to make any suggestions or protests at the appropriate time you know."
"Appropriate time?" hooted Arthur. "Appropriate time? The first I knew about it was when a workman arrived at my home yesterday. I asked him if he'd come to clean the windows and he said no he'd come to demolish the house. He didn't tell me straight away of course. Oh no. First he wiped a couple of windows and charged me a fiver. Then he told me."
"But Mr Dent, the plans have been available in the local planning office for the last nine month."
"Oh yes, well as soon as I heard I went straight round to see them, yesterday afternoon. You hadn't exactly gone out of your way to call attention to them had you? I mean like actually telling anybody or anything."
"But the plans were on display ..."
"On display? I eventually had to go down to the cellar to find them."
"That's the display department."
"With a torch."
"Ah, well the lights had probably gone."
"So had the stairs."
"But look, you found the notice didn't you?"
"Yes," said Arthur, "yes I did. It was on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying Beware of the Leopard."
Above is quote from "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" Chapter 1. It's a conversation between The lead Mr Arthur Dent & the superviser of a construction company who is in charge of demolishing his house to make way for a bypass.
It was in the movie about this time last year. Go Google.
Anyway, this is written in regards to what I feel about the recent forum article I heard from friends and Mr brown podcast.
Hope you guys like it.
OK, Same things again, prediction time.
This week. I going for Emilee Kang & Meryl Joan Lee with Nurul Maideen as wildcard.
I think Meryl perform fairly weak because she is over ambitous in potraying the song.
Emilee was ok.
Note: I into total package and marketablility in the singer I choose. Same for all the weeks.
OK, I shall end here, update tomorrow when the results are out.
This is Lupin Tan. Out.

Updated: OK, Meryl didn't get in, hope she get in on wildcard, you better do better hor.
Congrats to Mathilda for getting in.

OK, I watch the exciting Brasil - Aussie match, which ended 2-0 to my Brasil. Aussie played fairly well though unable to converge the goals. I hope to see them proceed to the next round. I slept through the Frace - Korea match though. Woke up and heard they drew (Expected). Slept only about 3 hr, woke up @ 6am. Then when I journey to my work place, the whole singapore is overcast (how I know, cause I live in the west and work in the east). By the time I reach office, It's so dark that I scared it's going to rain before I reach office. I did a prayer and it works. I still dry by the time I reach office. Thanks Lord.
Update from Previous Entry
Was @ Suntec around 1830hrs, Waited for Miss Hebe. Met her. She's not hungry, but we went to the food court anyway, I need to grab a quick bite. I can see that she's very tired from work. Well, I tried my best to kick off some conversation (normal routine). But she seems distant. More like the Ice Queen (forgot her name) from Narnia. Muahahah.
Then we went window shopping, she's looking for clothes, and I following behind, oberserving her fashion taste and sense. She seems to be into the color green. Hmmm. Totally different from her presentation of self. Mayber green is her inner color.
Then we went up, I saw Denise Keller from MTV. 1 word, thin.
Proceeded in to the concert hall. As usual, singaporean, come in very late. Then when the door was close, those behind us rush to the front and fills the $100 seats.
Whatever, I'm there to enjoy the music, so my butts was firmly glued.
I can only use one word to describe Jamie Cullum, "Talented". He's that good that I willing to spend on the most expensive ticket next time he's in town. He's humorous, child-like. He say that he invited the Idols people over but they say can't, got result show, then Jamie say in the concert that he thought was some blood result or something. Hahaha. Then, apart from his song, he sang a couple of others. "Geek in the pink", "Seven nation army" and a few others.
He's Real damn Good. Knows how to work the crowds.
Jamie, Hope to see you soon dude, And Yeah 2-nil to ENGLAND!!!
Back to the guys turn.
This week's guys are fairly better than the last.
This week, these is my pick.
I pick Hady and Jay, felt that they did fairly well as a total package.
I pick Randy as an dark horse because, I kinda like his voice though it's abit passe, the a looker that will work well in the competition.
So, watch this space for the result.

Result, OK, I got one. But the one that flip his eyes during performance got in.
What's up Singapore.
I’m a dreamer.
Who holds the fantasy love that the world now lacks.
A dreamer who was chided for the dreams he had.
A dreamer who has not been baptized by the fallacy of love.
Yet still believing in the felicity of love.
Will I be another victim when the time arrives?
Or will i grow stronger without compromise?
Still seeking this fallen world for the one I longed,
Not knowing that she’s the one all along.
Should I carry on with this dream?
All sweet and sometimes sour with that lemonade cream.
Should I stop looking and enjoy what I have,
Especially after all the efforts that I’ve made?
He knows the one that I will be with,
Yet not letting me a glimpse as time slowly drifts.
To all the girls I have known before,
May you find love forevermore?
So this dreamer carries on with life,
To seek the love that will thrive.
Praying with a sense of greed,
Is an author who deems Love as a creed.
Guys will agree with me. They have this fantasy too whenever they are playing soccer, getting all the best players to their side, laughing @ the other party at the decisions they make, setting the players up, always putting oneself as the striker. Yes, I did that too when I was young. So enjoy.
By the way, I found the song, it's "Eanie Meany" by Jim Noir

Q1. To the women out there, will you date a younger guy? If yes, what's the biggest age gap that you can accept? Why, for both yes and no? (Raised up by Serene Queck on 080606)
Q2. The key essential to a relationship is not love, trust, or even understanding.
It's communication. Do you concur? I do. (Raised up by Ashley (Sorry dude, don't know how to spell ur name) on 110606).

Ticket Charge Information
I am all hyped up for this concert that is on this coming Thursday. Let me explained later. I won a pair of tickets from WKRZ 91.3fm around march, (din't really blog about it on march). I only mentioned it briefly in my 04/04/06 entry. By the way, it was cancelled then, I had to wait a good 2 months until this coming thursday for it.
Anyway, when I first won the tickets, I already had someone in mind to invite. Let's call her Miss J. Afew of the people (my friends) know who Miss J is, Spinnee is one of them. But it was also then when matters (in which I had no control watsover) gone bearish (Stock Market Terminology). So I was keeping it in view.
So when I recieved news that the concert was cancelled postphoned, I thought I got a good 2 months to resolve the issue and invited her again. But to date, we are on a non-talking-term situation (as much as I hated it). So it's back to square one in thinking who to invite. So I decided to open invitation to everyone I know.
Backtrack abit. Before the concert was postphoned, a thought of asking BM to help me give away the tickets came into my mind. But this time round, I didn't as her to help. I think I just go for it. Seriously hoping someone don't mind watching with me. I really dig into Jamie Cullum's genre of music.
I won't get into the number of girls I ask, but mainly quite a handful, with various answers. There's even 2-3 that considered.
Then came the confirmation, my date-to-be, Miss Hebe(not her real name of course), was one of the last that I opened invitation too. The question here is I don't even know her at all, least her real name. But yet, this woman/girl, confidently accepted the invitation of a total stranger. This I applauded *clap clap*.
So to Miss Hebe (if you happen to read this entry), I really appreciated you for accepting the invitation (I'm really sound like a loser here, Muahahah), I hope you would enjoy the show and my company.
Yours Sincerely
Lupin Tan.
Today marks the third day of World Cup (WC).
England had a disappointing show of 1-0.
Sweden lagi worse, drew 0-0.
The only saving grace is Argentina which won 2-1 over Ivory Coast.
Anyway, the matches not the main topic of this entry, Woman is.
I was @ Union Square yesterday watching the England Match with my Salsa Gang.
Guess watch, Majority of my Female coursemate (Cause some more advanced than me) watching the whole bloody match. My Female instructor, Cat even to the extend (while we having supper) say she's rushing home to watch the Argentina match.
Then there is friends Spinnee, if you read her blog, she will give you the update.Anyway(I starting to develop a bad habit of using this word in my entries), this is wat I had observe. There is a growing trend of Womans watching the WC. As compared with the previous WC, it's about an alarming rate of 25% growth, and I forecast by the next WC, wherever it is, it will be a 50% growth from this current number of females.
Hopefully my blog would be still around to discuss more on this trending.
This is Lupin Tan, Shouting "BRAZIL!!!!!"
Out.
Woke up @ 0800hrs, meet Serene @ Jurong East MRT platform, then alighted @ outram park where her office is. We went for a cuppa of coffee, and we walked to her office. She continue to work. I walked all the way from Outram to Raffles for my Haircut appointment. 1030hrs
1130hrs, met Esther to settle some monies, rush down to Toa Payoh. Chatted with almost the entire staff of ex-company, Kwang went completion so he miss out the lunch appointment. We were discussing about my understudy leaving only just 4 months? for better prospect. And the disgusting Jason coming back (second person who are 坏马 (cause 好马不吃回头草) as his understudy. The girls were lamenting about him being lecharous to them when he come back.
Was still cock-talking with Kwang when he's back around 1400hrs. Setted to meet him and DY (for breaky) tomorrow.
Left @ 1500hrs, rush down to meet serene (again, yes) to help her install the chinese input thingy. Then rush off again around almost 4 to go to Aljunied, Universal Office to collect my Jamie Cullum tickets (which I will discussed bits more later in another entry), then met Maple, help her shift bits of things from one flat to another. Went through another session of "counceling". We left her place around 1900hrs, she meet with cell members to go cell, I rush down again to a Think-tank company for focus group. (Thanks Rachel for the intro, lets meet, I blanja). Left focus group around 2300hrs, reach home around 0030hrs, bathed and watching soccer. missed all the goals of first half(Germany vs Costa Rica), now catching up all the second half goals.
_____________________________________________
Was passing by this DHL hot ballon thingy when I was on my way to the focus group.
This thing came into my mind, how romantic is it to tell the woman that I love on top of that thing this three word "I Love You". And no, I don't have a woman I love right now.
OK, the match is ending soon, and I'm too tired to carry on, so I stop here. Later still got salsa class, and I meeting DY in the morning as stated.
First of all, a confession. I didn't catch the show at ah, only managed to hear the last 2 on radio, 89.3fm. So, the choices made are based on the trailer from the web, their appearance, singing voice. Discounting the stage presence & stuff. These are my choice in order, Milly Khoo, Geraldine Chua & Rahimah Rahim as Dark Horse.
My first choice Milly Khoo is not a common choice as heard from radio and stuff. But I would like to see a pretty face sticking around. Yes, I think she's the only one of two in the final 28 that is a "looker".
Anyway, while hearing the trailer on the radio, I made the choice of contestant 2, 3 & 5. Not knowing who they are until I went on the official site to see thier details and finalise on my picks.
So who will go through, we will find out tonight.
The is Lupin Tan, Out.
__________________________
Man, my first 2 choice is out. Thought Rahimah was in.
Here the other girl who got in.
宁可得罪君子,不可得罪小人.
宁可得罪小人,不可得罪女人.
Man, when I continued this entry now, I had just offended 2 womans, to this 2 woman, all I can say is I'm sorry, but I really need time to prove why I do things this way. I need your trust, especially the one that talk to regularly, it's really not worth it over you-know-what.
I'm now at Alison's working place. It was one week ago that something happened. Someone wrote a malicious email using another account and sent it to my boss. The content of the email is to complain about. To me, this is the attitude of a 小人. Not that it really affected me though, it just expose itself to the company and make people wary of him. Anyway, we roughly know who he is.
And yes, never never offend a woman.
I did a super short entry 05/05/05.
So, 1 day, 1 month and 1 year had passed and today is 06/06/06.
I would like to do a brief recap. As compare to the period from "04/04/04 to 05/05/05" & from "05/05/05 to 06/06/06", more things happened. I got my job change, I'm more active in church, I got to know more peoples (espeically girls). I write more, both in blog and hard copy, I think more, I study more (all aspects that I'm interested). I'm happier. Yes, I'm happier.
Anyway, apart from the brief recap, there are also another significant reason for writing on this date. First of all, I would like to declare that I am a Christian, just in case you guys don't know. I would like to make the stand that 06/06/06 has no significant meaning (as far as I know of) biblically.Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.
I think the old-horn-one will be laughing his horn off at us mortal panicking over this date. First there is the movie "The Omen" airing today, then because of this movie, Mothers fear of giving birth on this date. Then the media as usual tries to blow up this whole date thing.
Read the line I got from the bible again, it says that the numner of the beast (presumebly the old-horn-one) is 666, and not that he's born on this day. Get your freaking facts rite. Aiyoh.
Enough of that already, so far the day had turn up quite fine for me at least, and no, I not watching "The Omen". I think Konan Kenji not watching too.
Anyway, I looking towards the Future. The next date 07/07/07 is the speculated date of marriage of my spiritual sister Esther and my future brother-in-law Victor. Maybe on this date I will do an entry looking back to this entry, counting the things that had happened.
I going to skip 08/08/08, most probably just another entry of looking back.
But 09/09/09.
I feel it's special. Why? That's the date I want to get married, remembering telling some of my friends. But there is a major major major problem here. I'm still single. Muahahahah. And how close is this date? 3 days, 3 months & 3 years away. There must be a miracle for this event to take place, and I placing it all on my Father-up-above. Be it happening or not. Muahahaha.
OK, enough already, this is Lupin, Out.
First of all, I'm not so much of a Soccer Fan's myself, the last time I followed the World Cup entirely is during 94'. Maybe I will watch abit bah.
But I saw this interesting letter that I would like to share.
Soccer Fans' Letter to Wife
1. From 9 Jun to 9 Jul, you should read the sports section in newspapers so that you know what is going on. Otherwise, don't complain about not getting any attention.
2. Do not stand nude in front of the TV because I will not have the time to take you to the doctor.
3. When you see that I am upset because my favorite team loses, do not say to me "get over it, it's only a game" or "don't worry, they will win next time". Those so called "words of encouragement" will only make me angrier and love you less.
4. You are welcome to sit and watch a match together with me but you can only talk to me during half time when the commercial breaks are on.
5. Tell your friends not to have any babies or host any parties during this period because I will not go. But if my friend invites us to his house to watch a game, we will be there in a flash!
Finally, please save your remarks like "Thank God, the World Cup is only once in four years" because after this comes the Champions Leauge, Premier Leaugue, Itatlian Seria 'A', Spanish League.
Second & Third Day of June.
020506
Author Note: I wrote this entry on a lazy Sunday afternoon, halfway through “The Fast & the Furious”, stopping my maple story for a while.
Friday was a normal working day for me, but not so normal for today. I went to the subsidiary for lunch. I left main office around 11.30 am, Went to the bus-stop, bus just left, saw big big boss car, and he gave a ride. Scolded me for sitting behind (“You think I’m your driver is it”), switched to front seat.
Anyway, we reach the subsidiary, there is a buffet there, and Lyon had been telling me for at least 2 weeks, asked me to go over. So are the other aunties. Anyway, I went there for another purpose, Her. Who? Spinnee-you-should-know-who. Anyway, I got her name, from someone, even found out whether is she attached or not. So, from now on I shall christened her Alison, that’s the nearest to her real name, rite Spinnee?
Anyway, I don’t really have any mood for food, because something happen on Wednesday, some scumbag incident that don’t really affected me that much. Anyway, from what I feel, I think the whole Alison episode should end there and there. There will not be any move made on my part at least.Anyway, when the day ends, I accompany my big big boss’s son to go get some foldable keyboard. We left office @ 6.00pm, drove towards Suntec. We ended up eating @ Lavender Food Center. I order the famous Wanton Noodles, and AnPang Yong Tau Foo. But when we proceed from Lavender to Suntec, it was jam all the way. Parking was difficult to find. We reach Suntec 2 minutes shy from 8pm. And guess what, The PC show that we wanted to go ended @ 8pm. We try to go in but the stupid door close before us. So, we separated our ways. I proceed to go to balaclava to find Spinnee. After 2-3 rounds, still can’t find her, so I went home.
I was walking towards the Funan center direction, was so tired that I decided to take a break from all these walking. I took out my computer and start surfing. Saw maple online, said hi, then chat chat chat, we decided to meet. I went to her house area; she brought me to eat grass jelly, which to me not that well.
So I proceed from Funan to Maple’s area, we proceed to some cafeteria for grass jelly. I ordered an additional drink because I was too thirsty. We chatted a lot, updated each other on the stuff that had happened to us. We even discussed on some topics that I would like to bring up when I had more time. So after sending her back, I went back home and ZzzZzz.

Woke up @ 10 plus. Still feeling tired from yesterday night “debate” session. Whack maple til 1pm as usual. Dedication on WKRZ while on the way to Salsa class as usual. BTW, I got to know Sabrina abit better. Enjoyed Salsa thoroughly. Then proceed to Orchard to shop for a pair of jeans. Hitched a ride from Dylan. Found out that Cat, (the female instructor who apologizes for being “对你凶”) like Jazz too.
I want to lament this whole GSS hype. Yes, I concluded its hype after my experience. Guys being guys, I went shopping with a target in mind. (A pair of jeans). To cut the long
Story short, after being to Wisma, Taka, Heeren, Centerpoint, I can’t get my bloody jeans.
I mean common, GSS, there supposed to be discount rite? Wat I see is that they (the store) will put a bloody big sign and say (let’s say) 60% discount, (which caught your eyes). Then when you go nearer, you see a fine print (not that fine lah, but always with * ) saying “Selected Items Only”. OK, reasonable. But you know what the ultimatum is ? The bloody “Selected Items Only” is one miserable, pathetic corner with out of season items. What The Fish. But the only grace for the day is that I got a Mambo bag that I really like for $40 buckaroos instead of $99.
So much for GSS. I prefer to shop during the festive seasons. *Pui*

Dear readers, I had updated the links on the list. Especially the girls sections. Do have a look

Was suppose to went home to watch Singapore Idol, Congrats to "DuaBukit" and "Flo-Say-I-Look-like-Sly" for going through. End up, I had a sudden craving for Hong Kong Cafe Food (Man, I sound like a preggy), called Edna (who lived around the area), meet up, I had my food, and we chatted while we I eat.
Anyway, she was filling me that it's Eddy (one of my Salsa instructor) b-dae. After the dinner, She said She wanted to go to the library (Marine Parade), but halfway way, she changed her mind and we went to Hard Rock Cafe (Where Eddy celebrated his B-dae. The Main "gang" is there). Had a nice night dancing. Woots. I was thinking why the "gang" switch camp (which is normally @ union square), not knowing that HRC got Salsa night too. I like it here better.

First of all, Happy B-dae to my 邪怪弟 who is celebrating his b-dae today, nothing much to add, just in case my "Christian" sis get "Christ" again. (Family joke, forget it if you don't understand).
In the news (Straits Times, 020606),
1. His Excellency, President Nathan does a Harry Potter. If you are a Potter's Fan (even if you are not but watch the movie), you will know that the character in the protraits will move. There is a potrait of President Nathan that reacts to human actions. It's located @ Singapore Science Center. Do go down to have a "potter" feel.
2. A Female RSM.
Ok, for the pass 2 days, I had been on heated debates with girls in regards to equality of sexes, in which I respond that I respect woman in high positions. I would like to salute this 1WO (though there is no need to salute a WO) for being the first. Incidentally, She is the RSM of my active unit 46 SAR. Hahaha. Maybe will get to meet this figure when I go back for my reservist (I goes 46's canteen for lunch).

ok, moi end here. Ciao
Recently, all the hoo ha of Dinsey @ Johor had been going on. Reports has it that the Japan consortium for disney had been receeing @ Nurasaya.
To me, this is old news, cause last year around this same time I did an entry call "Disney @ Johor".
hence this title.
Then today, on Today newspaper, they ran an article call "Taking the Mickey out of Disney's tales".
Looks like D is not Disney but Denial. Hahaha. Anyway. Hope to see Mickey soon.
Welcome to Singapore Idol.
OK, let's get rite down to business, after watching last nite show, I feel that Paul "DuaBukit" Twohill and Jonathan "Flo-say-I-look-like-Sly" Leong going to pull through to the finals with Terence "Son-of-BillyBong" Tay as the Dark Horse.
Both Paul and Jonathan are deems as the hot fave by the judges, but since this is the beginning of the phone voting, anythings goes. Paul might not appeal to the majority (depending on the voting crowded).
Side note: Was hearing Ken Lim commenting on the hopefuls performance . If I am the contestent, I would saying "Thank you for your constructive commenting Simon, I mean Ken" Then stick out my tongue and do a shrug look.
