Day 5: Kluang

I'm Sick, officially.

Starting from a running nose a few days back that developed to a dry cough. Throat irritation. Man, it sucks while I having my holiday.

Bao Bao had a great dance yesterday, got 2 trophy, one for participating in the competition, another for being ranked number 3 in his class. Everyone is so proud of him.

Tonight is my eldest cousin's 21st birthday. I will go back to Singapore tomorrow. Til thn, cheerios.

Day 4: Kluang

Ok, There ain't any entry for day 3 cause nothing much happen.

Today, Mom came back, as usual, she's the Santa Claus. Bought lots of things for my kiddos cousins.

They are always happy to see her.

Well, today also nothing much. Just later I going to see my youngest kiddo cousin (20 years younger than me) to perform. Haha. He last year didn't perform, this year, the whole freaking family less a few people went down to support him.

And BTW, tomorrow, my eldest cousin, who is celebrating her 21 birthday. That's why I am tasked to stay back.

Sigh, I wanted to go back singapore soon, getting kinda boring here. There is so much to do when I get back. Sigh.

Day 2 : Kluang.

Woke out at 9.30 am. (Yah I know, don't envy).

No breaky. Had lunch, prorridge at 11am. (I think brunch should soon more appropriate).

Stay at home until almost nearly 2pm, went to my uncle comic shop. replenished some comics that I intented to bring home to read.

Went to shop, bought just a magazine and 2 freaking Bruce lee style sunglasses that I always wear, 1 yellow and 1 blue.

then took my aunt car, she drop me at the LAN shop, and here I am blogging.

Before that, I went to about 5 lan shop today, all of them don't have maple story. Freaking sad, no blackorobin for the next few days.

Side note: Yesterday when I finish my entry earlier, I wanted to leave, then someone came in, and someone else came in. I spent another half an hour chatting with them.
I told one that I got to leave, cause I scared later rain cause the place is over-casted with dark clouds. Truth to my words, when I walked halfway home, it rains. hahaha.

Think I don't get to see her today, she having her major paper, how is it? :)

Touchdown at Kluang

Hi guys, I'm at my mom hometown. Touchdown 1300 hrs, nice weather, cooling.

Went to my uncle's comic shop, had my lunch, saw my fifth uncle-in-law, he drove me back to my second auntie's house. dropped my bags, went to have my hair cut and dye for a freaking RM$22 (less than S$10), dye not included(I bought my own dye from S'pore). Went to visit my Eldest aunt and the daughter of my fifth auntie whome my eldest aunt is babysitting.

And here I am Blogging.

And yes, I have a damn freaking big extended family of my maternal side.

The First Romantic Story of the World

"When you saw her, what did you say?"

The old man's eye danced.

"I didn't say anything, not at first," he answered. "I think I tripped on a root, and she laughed at me. She loved to laugh at me."

He let go of his young companion's hand to stoop and pick up a smooth stone in the path.When he straightened, he smiled. It was a faraway smile. He was remembering

The girl tugged gentily on his arm. Her name was Elanna. She was a favorite out of his countless great-great-grandchildren. But now she was a young woman full of life and question.

"But eventually you spoke to her," Elanna said, determined to coax the story from him.

"I was flustered," he answered, shaking his head. "My mind was on fire with curiosity and a new kind of happiness. Here stood a creature after my own kind. Her every feature comforted my senses and invited me nearer. Her eye looked back into mine with soul depth."

The old man paused his narrative. Elanna was wide-eyed.

"You'll understadn that moment better when you have it yourself." he continued. "When you meet your soul's match what words are adequate? Sometimes joy can almost choke you. when we first met, I want to whisper and shout and laugh and dance all in one moment."

"But instead you gave a speech," Elanna said playfully. Her grandfather, or "First One" as people respectfully called him, was known for his speeches.

"Well, yes, you could call it a speech. I suppose it was. My first words in her prescence must have sounded out of place. but the occasion demanded formality. It was momentous. The aninmals were gatheringm adn the Maker was waiting for my response."

Elanna slid her hand into her grandfather's as they walked into a clearing, a natural cathedral in the forest that siphoned the sunlight and pained speckles on the moss-covered ground. "Well, when you describe it that way, your first words are understandable," she said. "It was an inauguration"

"Yes, It was a dedication of her, of us, to the Maker. I named her just as I named the animals, but her name was an acknowledgement that the Maker had once again, and more beautifully than ever, done what was good - He had made us for each other."
Then He stopped walking and stood straighter. His voice deepened as he recited the words on that day so long ago:

This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called "woman" for she was taken out of man

When He finished, neither the old man nor the girl spoke for what seemed a long time. the woodland sounds filled the silence.

"That's beautiful," she finally said in an awed whisper.

"Elanna ..."

"Yes, Grandfather?"

"You ask these questions because you yourself long to meet yoru soul's match. Don't pretend I don't know you, child. You have your First Mothers's eyes. They looked just like yours do now when she was longing for the Garden. but you miss someone your've never met. You want to run through time and glimpse that first meeting. You want to know how you'll know him. But you need not fret"

"But it doesn't seem fair to me," Elanna said, the words born of frustration tumbling out. "It was easy for you. The Maker brought Grandmother to you. she was the only woman for you, she was the only woman !"

"Child ..."

"But here, now, it's so different - so, so confusing"

"It's not more confusing," he said gently. "It only seems that way. Our meeting was 'easy', as you put it, not because we were the only humankind, but because in those sweet days before we disobeyed, we implicity trust the Maker to bring what was good."

He reached out and with both hands lifted her head so her eyes looked into his. "My dear child, what you must try to see is that nothing has changed. When the Maker brings you your husband, you'll be aware that it was He who make you for each other and He who planned your meeting. And in the moment, just as we did, you'll want to sing a song of praise to Him."

Wedding by the Reservoir.

Yesterday, I attended a wedding of a "relative". The two of them, held their wedding by Seletar Reservior. Innovative, hot though.

With guest over 200s, half of which are the entire youth wing in his church, the wedding went on smoothly despite the hot weather. A few of us ended up looking like lobster despite there aren't any lobster dish serve. It's buffet style.

I like the setup, though can be improve, it suits perfectly into the enviroment.
I took a picture which I quite proud of with my friend's camera. Here it is.

Friends had already start marrying one by one, and babies is already coming out one by one. by another 5 years, I can see the my friends will just talk nothing about children, shouting at the kids for mischieving and stuff. Oh no, we getting older, by thank God, we grow old together.

Oh yah, we met Fion. My Ka Jie (Canto for Sister) back in the poly days, a proud mother of 2. Her husband is the colleauge of Roland (the groom). Fion, your daughter has the most beautiful eyes of a baby I ever saw. Cross my heart.

Despite all this, something is missing. those who know what happen to me recently will know what. hehe.

Revelation, Updates.

I had a revelation this morning.

"It doesn't take a Genius to know what a Idiot is doing, but it takes a Idiot to make a Genius know what's he doing."

At this point of time, though I understand what this verse means, but I still don't know am I the Genius or Idiot. (I think, Anons will tell me that I'm the Idiot).

A "relative" of mine is getting married this coming weekend, congrates Roland and Chellie. I got my hand scalded helping them to make the door gifts. Stupid epoxy glue drop on my hand when it was still hot. Now got a patch. Ouch.

Baby Abby is so cute, "Wow-wer" (Flower), "Ne-ice, Ne-ce" (Nice, Nice).

STUPID SUCIDE BOMBERS!!!

I have enough of all this nosense of places getting bomb, people dying.

BM will say her famous verse "The Death of One is a Tragedy, The Death of Millions is but a Statistics".

But, guys (refer to the bombers), you guys are getting boring, and LEAVE THOSE INNOCENT CIVILIAN ALONES.
