I had "Hawaii Five-0" playing on my playist right now. I kept forgeting where had I had this song before, cause It's way ahead of my time and it's not possible for me to watch the show before.
Then someone enlighten me on my ride home, I show her the song and she said "Hey, isn't this the song they always play in Zoological Gardens Animal Show" I was like "OMG, yah"
Since young, my family frequent the Zoo (I always thought I'm one of the monkey living there), and we always make it a point to go to watch the animal show. Yes, "Hawaii Five-0" is always been played before the show. After all these years (I had not been to the zoo for a long long time), it's burnt in my subconsious mind, bring back all my childhood. Now I know why I love this song. Woots. Another song comes to my mind by now "Apache 65". Both are by The Ventures.

First I going to talk about PMS.
Yes I know it's weird at first look, but this PMS I refering to is the People Mover System (PMS for short) that is going operational next year. What People Mover System are you talking about you might ask? Let me give you more infor.
Chaing Airport is rolling up a new Transport system to ferry passengers between T1, T2 and T3(operational on 2008). This system will operate 24hr by 7 when it's fully operational on 2008. The name of this system is call "People Mover System".
It can travel @ 60km/h, eights seats only , Evacuation door on both ends (like our MRT), split grab poles, 2 LCD screens for Flight infor, First-aid Kit (A duh/must have).
So there you have it, the new PMS system of Changi. Soon you will get people saying they are riding on a PMS.

Dear all, Election is just around the corner. Try smelling it. (Hahaha!).
Frankly speaking, I’m quite excited over this year election. I will explain promptly.
But first let’s talk about my title. Why do I put the title as “All in the name of Risk”?
When I was reading an article in the Insight section of the Straits Times dated Mar 3rd, 2006, titled “Hot Talk in Hot Wards”, the Straits Times team gave us a half page worth, fully colored details of what the electoral boundaries maybe like in this year election (The electoral boundaries was released on that day).
The first impression at the very first glance of these electoral boundaries, it reminded me of a game that I played. RISK! (Don’t you feel the same way?) The whole of Singapore is being zoned up, like the world map in RISK! Each “Players” are now strategizing and planning where to putting their “Soldiers” in the “Territories” that they want to “conquer”.
Ok, now on why am I am excited. First of all, I had been interested in the political scene recently, part of my studies for Economics/Financial. This year especially, since it’s PM Lee’s first election and probably Minister Mentor Lee’s last (God bless his soul).
This year, the opposition party had been more active and aggressive, they had even discussed among themselves (different camps) to ensure there aren’t any three way fight. I watching in particular over Choa Chu Kang SMC (Where Steve Chia is re-running) and Bukit Panjang SMC (First time SMC, breakup from Bukit Timah-Holland GRC), since both are the nearest to my Hong Kah (potential walkover) ward.
I am also very interested in the trending of another 2 SMC, Potong Pasir and Hougang where PM Lee had strategize and rope in SM Goh’s help to “advise” the two PAP candidates in their wards. Especially in Potong Pasir where in 2001, the marginal difference between PAP’s Seetoh and SDA’s Chiam in the different of only decimal values.
Wonder did any opposition party read on what MM Lee said during his annual PAP’s CNY dinner over at his Tanjong Pagar wards. Let me summarize it in points form
1. Concentrate on a SMC
2. Work the ground and gain credentials
3. Employ like minded people’s help
4. When timing is right, go for a GRC.
You see, it’s really like the RISK! Game that I’m talking about. The question here is, which stage is our opposition party currently at?
I meant to post this entry earlier, but I had to due with some issues, so it had been delayed until now, I apologised.
OK back to saturady. I woke up at 7.00am in the morning (though I am not working) to go to Toa Payoh to meet up two ex-colleauges for breaky. We had Roti Prata. Went back to my old office to chat my old colleauges.
Then I proceed with my haircut with my stylist over at Raffless. But the time it ended and I reach home, I went for a quick nap (cause I'm very tired since my Penang trip).
So I wake up, laze around abit, surfing net, had my dinner ( 2 packs of maggie mee), "makeup" (Haha, trying to sound gay) and left home. I took a train (normally I would take a bus), walk by City Link, went to 7-11, got a mocha and a pack of sweet (that i'm very addicted to now).
OK, by the time I reach Esplanade, it's just in time for the first outdoor performance. It's a Korean group call "Oh! Brothers".
After a short break, I watch Tiramisu Next. The lead singer is damn solid. He like monkey like that, jumping here and there.
Next, I watch some Jazz performance @ the Living Room. It's some Japanese lady playing on the grand piano, Some Alfro dude playing the cello and some white guy playing the drum.
Next I went up to the Roof, look around before I enter the studio.
OK, now the event of the Day, Dennis Rollin. This guy is good man. He really bring you on a journey from the past to the future. Too bad, It's quite hard to find his music in singapore.
Cat Lover? Dog Lover? Animal Lover.
I wanted to touch on this subject about a month now. I had been noticing girls/woman (part of womanology) on whether are they Cat or Dog Lover. I notice a current trend, though there’re still more dog lovers than cat lovers, there seems to be increase of cat lovers, either by deciding that should keep cat or they switch from keeping a dog to a cat. This trend had been seen most significantly on the age group of 25-35 working adult ladies.
What is the different between these two? I would like to explain using an analogy from a dear of mine, a fellow Christian from FCBC. She asked me once am I a Cat Christian or a Dog Christian. This is the question that her Senior Pastor posts to the fellow congregation. Here’s her explanation.
A Cat Christian is like a cat, He/She will not know that you love Him/Her, or loves you back until His/Her demand are met. Meaning, a cat will only respond to you when you showered enough care and concern to it.
A Dog Christian, like a dog, will love you whole heartedly even though you forget to bring Him/Her Food, bathe Him/Her, walks Him/Her. He/She will wag His/Her tail at you when you come home, bring you your morning papers; even take care of your children. (Think Lassie).
Actually I am a dog person, though I still learning to be a Dog Christian, a Dog Lover (note, this Dog Lover do not refer to someone who love dog but a lover with Dog Characteristics). I dreamt of sometimes owning a dog in my dream house, calling it Fido, Milo or Ah Boy. I would most probably own a Jack Russell.
I saying I’m a Dog person, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t like cats. I do like them; I just don’t like them enough to want to keep them as pets. Cats are feisty, they have a bochup attitude. They are independent; they tend to surprise you in the way that you have to react and up your alertness in term of taking care of them. Dogs on the other hand, tend to be on the duller side (when they are come of age, most breed lah). They tend to be more predictable and easier to meet their needs.
But generally saying all these, I consider myself an animal lover. When I was young, I stayed over with my grandparents in Malaysia. Staying in a kampong, I played with chicks (little chicken, not girls), pigs, ducklings. I came across a python that was as thick as me then. Monkeys jumping at my kampong’s zinc roof. I like to go to the zoo a lot when I was young, and I always thought I was a monkey.
Yes, no matter whether are you a dog lover or cat lover, it’s your love for animals that counts. All this had been said with the reports of some guys torturing and kills over at bedok side. Thank God he’s apprehended.

Took out the pen knife) "Can I have it back, it's expensive" (It cost almost $10 buckaroos). "Yes sir, you can collect from the ground crew later". 9th Mar 9.3xam: Saw, Penang airport, Quite Jialat (poor maintained). Proceed to custom counter. Saw 1 chio bu standing around (Airport staff) "Sorry, where can I collect my pen knife back?" I asked her. "Straight front" She said. *End of conversation* (Like that also happy). Q-ing to get passport cleared. Saw that german. Cleared my passport, got back my penknife. Ask Cabin Crew for the key chain. Signal to the German that I got his key chain. Meet my Colleauge putside the airport. We found our Malaysia-counterpart. "Hi, my name is Lupin" (As usual like others, he tried to pronuce my name "Lu-bin, Ruebin, Lupin" Seeing he's chinese, I switch to chinese telling him my chinese name. "Sorry, I don't know chinese" He said. "Oh." (What a disgrace)."

9th Mar 7.4xpm: Looking true the Menu, The menu sucks (as in the items listed). I complain about the limits of variety in their foods. End up ordering Chicken Macroni with cheese, a chicken soup, a ice milo. All the the above mentions sucks except for the complimentary muffin that they give. Paid bills of RM$54.xx for the two of us. Glance through the items. What the, the bloody soup cost us RM$5.xx, and it test like campbell soups(most prob it is). Lament again.

10th Mar 8.15am: Goh, the Manager, picked us up for breaky. Had prawn noodles soup (Hokkien mee) and half-boiled eggs. Their half-boiled eggs are in a cup and they used light soya-sauce.
10th Mar 9.3xam: Back in office, doing working and blogging.
10th Mar 11.0xam: Left the manager computer to be setup. I can't do the file transfer for him cause he's still using his comp. Ahhhhh, We got a dateline to meet (I need to go back to Singapore).
10th Mar 12.3xpm: Ask the Penang Colleague to "Da3 Bao1" (Packet). Fix up of the manager comp.
10th Mar 1.2xpm: Had lunch, Chicken rice, quite nice. We confirmed that we want to try the 6.00pm flight back to singapore. Ask the penang colleauge to make arrangement.

10th Mar 1.4xpm: Make arrangement with the penang manager to fetch us to airport.
10th Mar 3.3xpm - 3.4xpm: He's back. Fanatic struggle to inform him about the comp, packing up to go, here and there something coup up. "Hurry, it's almost 4pm" said one colleuge (I very scared miss flight).
10th Mar 4.15pm - 4.3xpm: Reach Penang Airport. Rush to ticketing counter to put ourselves on waiting list. Ticketing counter ask us to proceed to Counter 28 for waiting list. On the way to Counter 28 saw a few AirAsia Stewardess (They smile at us/me) Went counter 28. Found out there are 2 buggers in from of us in the waiting list. Saw that there are only 4 type of Airlines passing through Penang namely SQ, MAS, AirAsia and ChinaEastern (or ChinaWestern).
10th Mar 4.4xpm - 5.15pm: Found one corner to seat. Was telling my colleauge the possiblity of getting on board. 30%-50% because there are 2 person in front of us, it's a friday, normally plane got only 1-2 seats that are freed up. Telling joke that scarli only 1 avail seat (like just now). Telling more jokes like lying to the counter people that my mom is sick need to rush back (Though she isn't), or my wife pregnant, giving birth need to rush back (I don't even have a gf). Telling even more jokes like people who are supposed to be on the flight (6pm) met a accident (my colleage scolded me for be so bad), I change say, the tire went flat, change again saying the bridge (my friend stop me cause he thought I going to say the bridge gena bomb) got jammed (Both of us laughed). Our names are not called (Oh no). Our names are called (Praise God!), I was telling my friend that if we don't get the ticket I going to complain cause we are the 3rd and 4th on the list. Rush towards the gate. Went to toilet. 10th Mar 5.5xpm: Finally got to the gate, got to the plane.
10th Mar 6.0xpm - 6.1xpm: Ask for a Straits Times. Reading it, Still reading it while the safety video was played. Lament to my colleauge that there still ain't any chio bu stewardess on our flight back.
10th Mar On the Flight: We had Turkey and Ham Palini (quite nice). I ask a steward for Poker Cards (my mom want it for my uncle). He returned with a plastic bag (inside got 3). 10th Mar 8.15pm - 8.3xpm: Plane *boing boing boing* touchdown. Everyone wanted to get out, me too. Called mom, ask her need anything from duty free shop or not (she said don't want, so unlike her not to take a bargain). Rush to toilet, Rush to immigratant checkpoint, rush out the arrival hall to the taxi stand. Got quece !! (but ok lah, taxi quite fast)
